Description
A fine pair of freestanding open bookcases in richly figured mahogany, of classical architectural form. Each is surmounted by a projecting moulded cornice above fluted pilaster uprights, terminating in distinctive roundel paterae capitals, lending a restrained neoclassical character to the design. The cases retain a series of adjustable shelves, allowing for versatile display or storage, and are raised on a plinth base with stepped moulding.
