Pair of French Louis XVI style tub armchairs, the carved rail in the typical manner of the period with highly detailed ribbon work along the crest among foliage, the frame a repeating motif of detailed leaves. To the scrolling acanthus caped arms, flanking around the bergere back and seat, with removable cushion. The canape´ rests on carved fluted tapering legs (the chairs are retaining their original paint)
