A highly carved extremely large fire surround the jambs in candy twist form decorated with birds picking berry’s the over mantle set with highly carved panels

It is our opinion that this huge over mantle was reconstructed in the mid-19th century using components from earlier pieces of furniture, as some of the panels appear to be 17th century.

This now takes the form of a large and spectacular fire surround and would need a grand home to house it

This is probably the grandest 19th century fire place on the market at the minute
