Description

Late 19th-century French clock set, the architectural marble case surmounted with a gilt metal lion, above four gilt embellished Corinthian columns. The case fitted with four glass panels enclosing the enamelled dial with a gilt metal centre, enclosing the two train movement striking on a coil above the twin canister pendulum, upon the integrated stepped plinth base on cast gilt circular feet. Together with a pair of conforming rouge marble and ormolu mounted twin handled urn-shaped garnitures.
