Description

A fine and elegant mahogany console table of classic Georgian inspiration, the rectangular top with a subtle satin sheen and well-figured grain, above a frieze fitted with three graduated drawers. Each drawer is finely constructed and retains its original style brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons, lending a pleasing period character. The drawer fronts display particularly attractive flame mahogany figuring, framed by delicate cockbeading.
The table stands on four slender, square-section tapering legs terminating in neat spade feet, giving the piece a light and refined profile. The proportions are balanced and versatile, making it suitable as a side table, writing table, or hallway console.
