Concealed directly beneath the top is a pull-out brushing-in slide, smoothly operating and neatly integrated within the upper section. The slide provides a practical auxiliary surface suitable for writing or sorting documents and, when closed, sits flush within the moulded framework, maintaining the clean architectural lines of the cabinet.
The drawer configuration consists of nine drawers set in three vertical banks of three, offering generous and well-organised storage capacity. Each drawer front is panelled and edged with fine cockbeading, fitted with brass swan-neck handles mounted on decorative rosette backplates, the brasswork displaying a warm, mellow patina that complements the depth and tone of the mahogany.
