The piece is of elegant drum form, the vertical body veneered in beautifully matched flame mahogany with a warm, honeyed patina that highlights the natural movement and depth of the grain. The cylindrical outline is accentuated by a boldly moulded top and plinth base, creating a balanced and architecturally confident silhouette.
The top is fitted with a circular white marble panel, neatly recessed within a substantial moulded mahogany surround. The marble displays gentle age-related marking consistent with use, complementing the character of the timber. The body is enclosed by a single curved door, seamlessly integrated into the drum form and fitted with a simple white ceramic knob and brass collar. When opened, the door reveals a well-proportioned interior fitted with a fixed circular shelf, providing practical storage while maintaining the cabinet’s clean external lines.
The cabinet stands on a stepped circular plinth base that mirrors the moulded top, grounding the design and reinforcing its symmetrical form.
